Education Dr. Leibman began his medical education in South Africa where he received his MD and a Masters in Neurophysiology. From there he did his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He was subsequently elected a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics/Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons.
Training In 1979, Dr. Leibman was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of OB/GYN at Baylor University College of Medicine. He is also on the clinical staff at the University of Texas School of Medicine and has been teaching surgical techniques to the residents since 1985.

Dr. Leibman was patient and kind and made sure every single question I had was answered. Dr. Leibman's nurse, Dena, is always welcoming, professional, helpful and straightforward. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident about my options.

Dr. Leibman is, for the most part, a kind and patient doctor. When I have seen him, I did not feel rushed, and he spent time answering my questions. The other good thing about his office is that it's easy to get an appointment and you don't have to wait for weeks to get in.

His nurse, however, is another story. She is okay in person, although you get the impression at times that she's forcing herself to be nice. When you call on the phone, she comes off as totally rude and impatient. I have called before for results after having a surgical procedure, and she picked up the phone and said, "Hi. What do you need? Make it quick. I have patients waiting." She knew who was calling because they have caller ID. I really hate calling the office to ask questions, ask for needed refills, make appointments, etc. because I nearly always feel like I am inconveniencing her. I have a friend who also sees Dr. Leibman, and she feels the same way as I do about his nurse. I would not recommend Dr. Leibman if you're having a lot of gynecological problems just because dealing with his nurse is so unpleasant.
