It was my 1st baby, so I was quite nervous & had a lot of questions which he answered-felt wierd when I saw on my chart in BIG RED LETTERS "asks a lot of questions"-before baby born, tried to move an appointment earlier because was afraid husband would get laid off-when explained to dr., he said "Then you'll go to John Peter Smith like everyone else does who this happens to." After baby born, developed HORRIBLE DIARRHEA & called to ask about this-was told "That's interesting-you have a baby & now you're incontinent of stool," Turned out my mother had given me stool softener WHICH ALSO had LAXATIVE in it & didn't tell me that. Had difficulty getting post partum appt & finally got call that I could get in (after writing letter to dr,)-he told me letter had nothing to do with it, they just happened to have cancellation. I had set up appt with another dr very easily & only kept appt with Dr Keen because felt it would be better to have dr who delivered baby see me after delivery.

Dr. Keen is an amazing physician. My son and I were in a life and death situation when I went to deliver. Dr. Keen prayerfully provided for our care, and my son and I are both alive and well. I can never thank Dr. Keen enough!
