The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They didn't seem to know much about my medical history or pre-existing conditions. I had to explain everything, which was very inconvenient. The Dr. Peppler seemed really knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions in-depth.They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. The staff are rude and irritable. Brittney was pregnant at the time of my visit and once I left my exam room I was not allowed to speak with the doctor anymore. There was no getting around Brittney. I would NOT reccomend anyone go to this doctor as long as Brittney works there. The staff are busy and become irritated easily. I had questions after my appointment and they made it seem like I was a nuisance. I was "allowed" to speak with Dr. Peppler's nurse, Brittney, who made me feel stupid and was very brief and rude. She said all the right things but with a very mean attitude and tone. I also had questions during my "follow-up" call where they informed me of abnormal results requiring a surgical procedure. Again, I spoke with Brittney, who was short with me. I felt like she was judging me and she made me feel dumb all over again. When I questioned if I should refrain from sex, if I had cancer, if the procedure would hurt- all my questions were answered with "I suggest you write all your questions down and bring them to your next appointment." She couldn't give me basic information about anything just to ease my mind a little bit. I tried googling my questions but there are thousands of websites with information that could be wrong. When I asked to speak with the doctor Brittney replied "Dr. Peppler does not do phone consultations." Ok- so I asked if I could come to the office and ask a question or two- "Dr. Peppler has appointments all day and would not have time to speak with you unless you schedule an appointment." I also said "I'm not sure if I want this procedure, I'd like more information before making my choice." Brittney's response- "That's up to you, I can schedule your appointment right now if you'd like." Wow, really?
I have BCBS insurance and decided to use Dr. Peppler for my annual checkup. I printed up my previous years blood work results and handed in with my paperwork with co-pay. I had been having pelvic pain but every time I'd ask a question, it seemed like they were annoyed and didn't want to give me an answer. I understand they're busy, but they should really treat their clients better. I suggested that I get a blood test, and when I came back the next day after fasting, the staff wanted to know what type of blood test I wanted. I said the same type that I had given copies of with previous Gyno. Then when they asked me to sit down to draw my blood, they asked me for my credit card so that they could automatically use it, should I incur extra charges in the future. Since it was a basic test and BCBS had been paying for these tests for me for years, I could not understand the request.?? My blood test came back and I was told Dr. Peppler does not treat the patient for cholesterol, etc and I now had to go to my regular doctor. I explained that my previous Gyno had would take the time to discuss my health and prescribed Lipitor. I was told that Peppler does not treat the patient for things like that.??SO MUCH FOR WELLNESS EXAMINATIONS with this doctor.
