Dr. Witherspoon is a little older than most doctors I have been too, but his knowledge base is outstanding. He is extremely intelligent and he knows what he is doing. He is very straight forward, doesn't beat around the bush, and wants to get to the bottom of the problem and fix things. I went to a few other ENT's for second opinions on my problem, even went to one at Vanderbilt, and I ended up back with Dr. Witherspoon. I just felt like he had the knowledge and experience to take care of me.
