I have not been to see an OBGYN in 5yrs and that's my fault but have had no insurance in that time. The staff as well as the Doc. was nice enough but was greatly disappointed when I left that has left me in tears all day. First, the blood pressure device that has Velcro was shot. So, accuracy was not there and took 15 mins and think a number was just made up. Next, I have a family history of cervical cancer as well as heart disease that the exam performed was not what I'm used to in my years of female exams. No swabbing of my uterus was done to send for testing and urine test was not performed. So, if I do have a major issue I will not know that could be treated and prevented. However, did find out I have a yeast infection that I get often. I feel miserable with my monthly, ovulation and the week before my period that I know something is wrong with my body. I was only offered a birth control device that I cannot afford and a anti. deprsnt. I feel worse now then I did when I walked in and will live with my pain until I have another exam. Please do your homework and get a family or friends advice on a doctor that will go above and beyond or at least make you feel like your health will be taken care of. I will not return to this doctor and hope all is ok inside of me!!
