The billing department is horrible. For nine months I have been disputing a bill which they turned over to CBCS, who would not give me the phone number to request the bill. In June, I called and requested the bill. I asked how long it would be and asked who I was talking with, and she stated that "I'm retiring Friday; and I'll leave it on the next persons desk." I guess their desk was located in the "circular file". Horrible billing practice. The hospital did not even given them my insurance informtion; and no one ever said that they didn't have it. It was alway "We've submitted this and haven't heard from your insurance." Incredible. Make sure when you leave the office they know who your insurance company is and what your name is!!!!!
