Diagnosed with prostate cancer, my Doctor requested 3 tests to make sure it wasn't elsewhere. My UHC insurance advised the tests had to be pre-authorized & my doctor contacted them. This doctor(?) spoke with my doctor & still denied the contrast MRI. I wonder if she would be so cavalier in rejection if it were HER family member? She hasn't seen me & doesn't know me but still refuses to authorize appropriate testing for metastasize possibility? This is absolutely outrageous and she needs to be ashamed of herself!
