Although when I started going to Adventist Health Damascus I had to select a primary physician, in the nearly three years I was "her patient" I never even met her. Whenever I needed to see a doctor, she was too busy or at another office or out of town. In fact, I never saw a doctor there -- I always saw the Nurse Practitioner. When I had a crisis, I saw the NP, and she consulted with another doctor at the clinic. He couldn't be bothered to see me, either, and recommended I go to the ER. It was a false alarm, as it turned out. I can't help but think that if the doctor had examined me, the hassle and huge expense of that visit (an overnight stay for "observation" = $5,000 out of pocket) could have been avoided. I have not been back to Adventist Health Damascus.

They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They never have that typical, annoying music playing here. If they do play music it is soothing and appropriate for the setting. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out.
