Carmen Mikacenic, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist who specializes in interstitial lung disease including pulmonary fibrosis, lung complications of autoimmune diseases, sarcoidosis and acute respiratory distress syndrome. In her approach to patients, Dr Mikacenic believes the evaluation and plan of care should be tailored to each individual. She enjoys helping patients with complex lung problems develop a good understanding of their disease so they can make informed, personalized decisions about their care. Dr Mikacenic is a clinical associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Washington.
