Dr. Fitch is an excellent physician and gastroenterologist: I make the 45-minute drive from Raleigh just to see him. Staff on both sides of the office (regular office and endoscopy suite) are very professional and polite. Despite being a relaxed and friendly practice, they take proactive measures to protect patient confidentiality (e.g. blacking out names of previous patients on the sign-in sheet), which is a welcome change from most MD practices I have been to.

Also, Dr. Fitch is a board certified gastroenterologist (not all MDs doing endoscopy procedures are these days!), which is extremely reassuring. I have recommended him to others, and would recommend him to anyone in the area seeking specialized care.
