Dr. Schwarzwald is board certified in cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. He has been selected to receive the Patients' Choice award in 2008, 2009, and again in 2010. His goal is to provide excellent diagnostic and medical care while maintaining a personal patient/doctor relationship, spending adequate time with each patient, and building a long term relationship. He currently provides expert care in internal medicine and clinical cardiology, including nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms. For more complex procedures and surgery, his patients will now have priority access to additional outpatient and inpatient care at NYU Langone, including Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Dr. Schwarzwald is a kind, knowledgeable cardiologist/internist he literally saved my life by noticing an abnormal Ekg finds ,I believe others had missed. I underwent a stress test which revealed a clogged artery which explained my inability to catch my breath at times. I also was very impressed by the staff at NYU Langone where I had a procedure to fix this blockage. Basically I highly recommend him.

I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time.
