Dr. Dorothy Chau received her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine Dr. Chau went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Dr. Chau is the recipient of many distinctive awards and grants for research including the Sigma Xi Research Grant and the National Institute of Health Research Fellowship Grant. She has authored numerous articles in the medical literature and has lectured at several local and national meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the New York Allergy Society.
Dr. Chau sees both pediatric and adult patients for evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of allergic disorders, with a special interest in food allergy, urticaria, and immunodeficiency. Dr. Chau speaks fluent Chinese.
