I have had many individuals recommend Dr. Hewitt applauding her ability and skill. Unfortunately my experience has not reflected such remarks. I was upset when my concerns were dismissed. I was told there was nothing that could be done for my issue. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. Through much persistence I ended up coming back to the facility and having another individual tend to my concern. To their discovery there was a real issue that had it not been addressed when it had could have caused serious complications to my pregnancy. In addition to feeling as if my concerns didn’t matter I was disappointed in the professionalism of the staff. There were times when our paper work and personal information was inaccurate i.e..spelling of names and addresses and during my appointments they were unaware of how far along I was during my pregnancy. On one occasion an appointment of mine was rescheduled via a letter in the mail. I did not receive a phone call or any sort of concern for my time. I felt this to be unprofessional and rude. Although the individuals at this facility may very well be nice people, I did not feel confident or comfortable in having my baby here. But because I was so far along in my pregnancy when serious red flags began to appear and due to the remote location of where I currently reside It was the best option for me. In any event, I would not recommend this facility.

She delivered my son via c-section and I never felt worried with her. My husband was deployed when I gave birth so my mother was with me. Dr. Hewitt made sure to make my mom feel welcome at every doctor visit and during the birth. Hewitt was very thorough and made sure that I was taken care of. I would recommend her to anybody having a baby in the area. She knows what she is doing and makes sure you feel at ease.
