This is my primary care physician and I've been coming here for close to ten years. Thorough, friendly, funny and observant, Dr. Scharf is always on top of his game while making it look effortless. He knows about new drugs yet never pushes them, encourages me to "rest up and drink liquids" when I have a cold rather than giving me meds, and is very willing to send me to a specialist when he's unsure of how to proceed. His office is the right balance of everything for me--knowledgeable staff, competent doctor, very little waiting time, if any, and realxed atmosphere. I trust his opinion and have been helped on many accasions. I'm especially impressed that this office will see patients on short notice.
