Was referred and was able to respond very quickly with an appointment. This is about the only good thing I can discuss. Trying to get my son in to see someone and wife took my son from school for the appointment. The Dr. the whole conversation which was one sided never opened the door and just spoke thru a receptionist window said She doesn't allow anyone under the age of 4 in her office. I have a 2 year old, We were never told this. She didn't take our insurance, she never asked. I am a one income family which alot of people now are because of the ecomony. She refused to speak to my older son with my younger one in the room. My wife called I left work (which I am not allowed but you do what you have to for your family) so I could watch my younger one while my oldest was getting help. The whole time my wife was talked down to and then the so called Dr. stated she will not see my son because we do not have the proper insurance and she charges 400?!! dollars an hour and she can't help for minimum of 3 visits that we should reschedule then she stated she is not rescheduling she is canceling and shut her receptionist window. The absolute rudest individual who is a so called doctor to help kids and families. I am completly disgusted by the way she handled herself and this situation and the worst is my son isn't any closer to recieving the help he needs. People there are plenty of choice in the St. Louis market to chose from this is not the right choice. Keep looking and stay away, Extremely unprofessional about the ultimate goal which is care for the individual she was more focus on her care and needs.
