Absolutely Terrible! Dr. Gignac unfortunately fails in areas of patient care and barely offers a thorough exam after your cleaning BECAUSE HE'S RUNNING FROM ROOM-TO-ROOM-TO-ROOM ATTENDING TO SEVERAL PATIENTS AT A TIME, EVEN WHILE A PATIENT IS IN A MIDDLE OF A PROCEDURE, HENCE WHY THE CROWNS HAVE RETURN LESS THAN ACCEPTABLE. Dr. Gignac had to correct several times the discolored and ill-fitting crowns manufactured by his partnered dental lab. His front desk receptionist, Michelle seems to get herself involved between the 'Doctor-Patient' discussions and/or feels she is allowed to provide medical opinion without having any medical education. Dr. Gignac claims he does not allow his desk staff to render opinion or guidance to any patient, but she apparently does without him knowing. The 2 desk women have scheduled 6-8 weeks out at a time and continuously cancel/reschedule my appointments, stating the crowns aren't in or are done wrong. I stated to Dr. Gignac that I would rather go elsewhere and to refund my money, but Dr. Gignac asked that I allow him to finish the crowns debacle, which has been ongoing since October 2023 (8 months). A patient should not accept subpar, ill-fitting workmanship and then be told by the receptionist Michelle that it is because one is picky. Recently, I requested this same staff to provide me with my insurance accounting ledger documentation for these same crowns indicating charges/deductions/payments for that specific service. To date I have not received them, and it has been 4 weeks since the request, this is now intentional and unacceptable. I'm not at all concerned if they respond that one is being "picky" or unable to make one happy, but this is furthest from the truth. According to Dr. Gignac's own admission, the dental lab is at fault for failing to follow through with his instructions. I find all this hard to believe and clearly, he himself, has failed in following through in a timely fashion with the dental lab and failing to communicate with the patient. They have left me with no choice but to leave this HONEST review, report this to the insurance company and other reportable agencies. This is inexcusable and definitely a 1-star rating office! Providing patient dental services has its demands with each patient, but no patient should ever wait out this long or accept subpar workmanship or crowns. The two passive-aggressive front desk staff, Michelle & Cheryl, one believes she could render medical advice to patients, and the other breathes heavily with her annoyed sigh when dealing with patient calls. The insurance companies have erected a grievance on my behalf and retracted the financial payments for this unfinished 8-month-old procedure. I have also filed a dispute with Care Credit. I've given this office the opportunity to correct these issues, so now I will be contacting the State Dental Boards regarding same.

"I wish I could write a positive review because Dr. Gignac always had a kind and welcoming demeanor, but this office is a complete scam. Every other checkup he would tell me I needed Invisalign, and to do it there because my insurance might cover it (even though I never had dental insurance and they had my information on file?), then the next appointment he would tell me that my teeth were perfect and nothing needed to be done. This went back and forth a few times. The final straw was about 2 years ago, when I was charged $1000 to fix a very very small chip in my front tooth in less than 20 minutes, and HE RANDOMLY STARTED DRILLING ONE OF MY BACK TEETH WHILE I COULDN'T SPEAK OR PROTEST! He only told me after that I had a "warning sign" of a cavity. I did not ask for this, I have had one cavity in a baby tooth in my entire life, and HE PERFORMED THIS PROCEDURE WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME! HE DRILLED INTO MY TEETH WHILE I COULDN'T SPEAK WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME WHAT HE WAS DOING UNTIL HE WAS DONE! This dentist is a disgrace, a manipulator, and a scam artist; don't let his demeanor fool you. I switched my dentist immediately after this appointment and have never had a problem since. DO NOT STAY WITH A DENTIST WHO STARTS TO DRILL INTO RANDOM PARTS OF YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU DID NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR! ESPECIALLY IF THEY DON'T EVEN ALLOW YOU TO SAY ANYTHING AND STICK YOU WITH A $1000 BILL! The job he did on my chipped tooth wasn't even good. It was rough, bumpy, and incomplete; I had to go to another dentist to have it fixed because I did not trust him to finish the job well or to start drilling into other areas of my mouth that I did not make my appointment for. I had a much worse chipped tooth repaired in 2002 by my pediatric dentist and it is still completely unblemished and unnoticeable after all of this time. I just had another SEVERELY chipped tooth and my new dentist explained exactly what was going to happen and how much it would cost (<$500 without insurance) before the short procedure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS SCAMMING DENTIST! PUSH HIS HANDS AWAY IF HE STARTS DRILLING INTO RANDOM PARTS OF YOUR MOUTH!"
