I am surprised by some of the reviews here, because Dr. Genet is hands down the best dentist I've ever gone to, and I've been to many. He's a perfectionist, he is kind, he is GENTLE, and his staff is professional and caring. I have my favorites for getting my teeth cleaned, and if you would like someone that is especially gentle - just indicate that in your request when you make your appointment. My family has been going to him for about 6 years now, maybe longer, and I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone else. In addition to more routine dental care, including fillings and root canal, I had him redo some shoddy cosmetic dentistry that I'd had done by someone else, and was extremely (extremely) happy with the results. He takes the happiness of his customers and the quality of his work very seriously. So don't let the above reviews deter you from trying this exceptional dentist.

You know, after going here for over 5 years, the last cleaning i had took 1 hr and 45 minutes, the new tech was telling me how poorly i did brushing my teeth (if she'd looked at my records she'd have realized that the dentist had put a facing on my teeth and it wasn't tartar that she couldn't clean off), AND the dentist split my lip open being so rough trying to poke at my teeth to see if i had any cavities and when i said "ouch" and began to bleed didn't even acknowledge it or offer an apology. I also just called to cancel my appointment that i won't be going to for my next cleaning because i switched dentists after that and the lady said "so you won't be coming back?" and when i said no she said "ok" and hung up on me. Great customer service - don't even bother asking what the issues were because you obviously don't care to correct them for your existing patients. Way to go...
