Dr. Jeevaka Yapa is an American Board Certified Oral Surgeon who practices the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery. His expertise ranges from the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants to teeth extractions. He’s also proficient in corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Yapa performs many of these services in his state of the art office where patients can receive IV sedation or general anesthetic.

Dr. Yapa completed his four year undergraduate degree in biology and a four year degree in dentistry at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He then completed a one year internship at Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago, IL followed by a four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Annually attending continuing education course enables Dr. Yapa to stay at the forefront of his specialty so that he can provide optimal care for his patients.

I called Dr. Yapa’s office with a terrible tooth ache and lady at the front was willing to work me in even though they had a full schedule. Considering that, the wait wasn’t very long and honestly, I would’ve waited longer if I had to! The receptionist offered everyone waiting beverages to male the wait as comfortable as possible. Once I was in the chair I didn’t even realize he was done, so quick and painless! I would definitely refer my friends and family here.
