Dr Vargas is rude and unprofessional. She does not take the time to listen and always seems to be talking down to you. It's hard to trust a doctor who won't even make eye contact with you. She will also open the door to talk to other patients or staff, while you just sit there, or walk out talking about sensitive information that shouldn't be discussed in front of anyone within ear shot!! Good luck trying to get an appointment with her, you will wait at least four weeks to be seen, even if you are SICK!!! I started down with flu like symptoms yesterday and my wife finally made me call the doctor today, they told me I couldn't get in to see her for almost a month and suggested I go to Urgent Care if it was that bad. They also told me she does not reserve time in her day to take in sick visits. I ended up going to the ER and waiting 3 hours, and when they asked why I didn't go to my primary I told them about Dr Vargas and what her staff said. Apparently I am not the only patient of her's that has had this issue. "(They) see a lot of her sick visits", the tending doctor had said, with a lot of irritation.
