Dr. Stokes began her training at the University of Louisville's School of Medicine in the 1970s. After blowing up at an administrator, she was kicked out of the program. Working in clinics for 10 or more years, she finally was accepted to a medical school in Buffalo NY. Upon completion of training, Stokes returned to Louisville and set up practice in Oldham County KY. Following another (2nd) blowup with a hospital administrator, Dr Stokes lost her delivery privileges at the LaGrange hospital. After this episode, Stokes was kick out of a second practice, then had to close a third for lack of patients. She now works at the at Fort Knox Army Hospital in Radcliff KY.
