After difficulty breathing and swallowing, Bruce put me on 5 meds: anti-inflammatory, steroid, allergy, antibiotic, and one more. It got worse. Called within 2-3 days (gasping). He was on vacation. Gerberi's nurse said: STOP ALL MEDS! As scheduled, I had an MRI. I heard that the tech said it was inconclusive and I needed an ultra-sound for further diagnosis. But, when Bruce returned, he wanted to go in and look. I asked about the ultrasound. He said I need to look at it as soon as possible. After outpatient surgery (KSB), a nurse came in my room and said: "You'll be happy to know, Mrs. Buttron, they didn't find anything and you can go home ..." Having looked at neck scar of 7 inches and remembering I asked him for 3-4 inch scar, or less and he agreed. Now hearing that he found nothing! I was furious. I also remembered that I told 5 young pre-op girls while they gave me a shot that I changed my mind about surgery. Who said to tell the doctor who would be in shortly. And then, they all left me lying there still awake. I held on long enough to see Bruce come into LARGE room, glance at me, I signalled him but couldn't speak, he turned his back to wash his hands and I lost consciousness. Tried to sue; but, Aurora attorney's kept (would not return) paperwork for over a year. We didn't have the funds to fight doctor, attorney's and the system at that time. I DO PRAY FOR THEM.
