This is what my attorney’s first words were when I mentioned a potential Dental Malpractice issue with Dr. Stuart Goff of Smile Surgeons in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Dr. Stuart Goff and his horrible wife Dr. Anastasia Duponti treat there patients horribly.
When I first visited Dr. Stuart Goff of Smile Surgeons he told me I need 2 implants and some crown work. Agreed to let him do the work. He placed 2 implants at one time. One of the implants was extremely painful both during the procedure and days after. I called everyday and explained that there was a tremendous amount of pain. The very rude and ignorant assistant Kimberly told me it was normal and if there was something wrong Dr. Stuart Goff of Smile Surgeons would have seen it.
Several days later I called his service explaining an emergency. The pain had grown too severe to handle. No return calls after 1 hour. I called again. No return call. I called again an hour later only to receive a call from his wife Anastasia Duponti, also a dentist at Smile Surgeons telling me that there is nothing wrong and even if there was they could not do anything till Monday and hung up on me. I called the service again and finally Dr. Stuart Goff of Smile Surgeons called me back. I explained the swelling and pain and a disgusting discharge. He agreed to see me first thing the next day. Oh to his surprise there was actually an abscess. What da ya know. “This must have really hurt.” He says. He had to remove the implant he placed in an infected area.
That was the beginning of the terror treatment given to me by Dr. Stuart Goff of Smile surgeons. He has since damaged the roots of two of my front teeth and my bite is a disaster.
Funny when I called my attorney I mentioned Dr. Goff (mind you I didn’t use the term Smile Surgeons) and the first words out of my attorney’s mouth was “AVOID SMILE SURGEONS LIKE THE PLAGUE”.
Dr. Goff is also a thief. I decided I did not want to continue with his treatment for the fear of him damaging my teeth even more and now he refuses to refund my money for my appointment even though I gave him more then ample notice of my cancellation.
