I have been a patient for years. Initially, when I started going, the doctor was very courteous, remembered my name and took time to discuss issues with me. However, in the past few years, my experience with this doctor has been worse and worse. He has become patronizing, telling me "I need to get to patients who are really sick", and rather than listening to my concerns completely, he assumes that my symptoms are related to stress and that I am a hypochondriac. I avoid going to his office at all costs because it has become such an unpleasant experience, but I maintain him as my primary care doctor bc it is just easier than trying to find someone else.
