About
Welcome to Connecticut ADHD Associates and the practice of Mitchel G. Katz, MD. We are a speciality medical practice located in central Connecticut that deals exclusively with pediatric and adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), both with and without comordid disorders, as well as other pediatric developmental and behavioral issues. We also offer expertise in educational issues and advocacy, as well as a full cadre of appropriate psychometric and developmental testing.
Our goal in making a proper diagnosis and developing and then instituting an appropriate course of
treatment is to help our patients achieve maximum potential at home, school, and on the job. We strive to improve our patients self esteem, as well as their ability to participate in interpersonal relationships and other social interactions. Our patients (and their families) usually report marked improvement at home,
school, on athletic teams, and the workplace.
We accept referrals from primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and school systems. We will also see patients on a self-referral basis.
We are conveniently located in Rocky Hill, which is geographic center of the state. Our office is located a few minutes off Route 91 and provides easy access from all parts of the state. We participate in most insurance plans.
