I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. Their equipment was safe and well taken care of, which really says a lot about their standards of care to me. I had a great experience here and will most definitely refer them to others in need of an internist.

After giving the receptionist the details of my symptoms, I told her I had a new insurance card and that I am now covered by the Connecticut Charter Oak Health Plan. The receptionist immediately went behind closed doors and told me that they were unable to treat me. Recognizing that the office did not accept the new insurance plan, I offered to pay cash for their services. I was then told that it was illegal for them to treat me. They told me that the State of Connecticut only allowed specific physicians to treat patients covered by the Charter Oak Health Plan. I told her that her statement was ridiculous and again offered to pay cash. I was again refused care. Recognizing that I was in an argument I would not be able to win, and now not trusting the health care offered, I thanked her and left.
