I had read good reviews of this doctor but was very disappointed in his handling of my case. I have had indigestion for a year, affecting my esophagus (always irritated, clogged feeling). Endoscopy (a year ago) showed stomach irritation but thankfully no cancer. Heartburn was beginning and acid-reflux. I burp constantly---after eating and on empty stomach from drinking water. I constantly feel as if something is stuck in my esophagus area (gas, I assume). Dr. Van Linda's only diagnosis was to tell me I was "swallowing air"...I have never heard anything so ridiculous. I chew slowly and carefully. Would swallowing air cause acid reflux? I felt totally dismissed, was not helped one bit, and would not see him again. VERY disappointed....want my co-pay back. Totally worthless appointment...
