This doctor helped me in the hospital after I had a heart surgery, and that's when I became a patient. He is very knowledgeable and has been helpful in my recovery. Very straightforward and honest, told me if I started smoking again he'd be seeing me back in the hospital, for instance. (I didn't start again! Heart surgery scared the heck out of me). Dr. Haffey was very supportive and suggested exercise programs,cardiac rehab, and so forth. He is very encouraging and when I ask questions he takes the time to answer them thoroughly.

I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. The problems are not with Dr Haffey but with one of his office staff. His office was supposed to forward a referral from Dr Haffey to a specialist, it's been two weeks and it still has not been done. I have called more than once trying to get the referral sent and I get "I'm busy, I'll try to do it in a couple hours" from the person who is supposed to send it. It still does not get done. How long does it take her to fax a form to another doctor. A patient should not be treated like they are a bother intruding into much more important things she has to do.
