I went to this provider 7 years ago and I'm still angry about the 1 visit I had with him. It was my first time to an OB GYN. Rather than introducing himself and asking why I was there (for absent periods) he proceeded to do an exam. I figured this was normal. He never once explained what he was doing. Furthermore, the exam was painful. I've had exams since, none of which were painful. After the exam, he said everything was 'fine' and left the room. What about my questions or why I was there in the first place!?!?!?! I felt violated. I should have stopped him and said, tell me what you are doing. Or better yet, first, let me tell you why I'm here. I was a young 20yo at the time, I did not know better. He should have.
