Several years ago, we took my mother to see Dr. Kopchick because she was having severe skin problems on her face and arms. Dr. Kopchick didn't have a clue what was going on, and in fact mistakenly diagnosed her as having impetigo. It wasn't until a few years later that we discovered the real problem--my mother's diet. She was eating way too many carbs and was possibly allergic to wheat as well. Once we put my mother on a low-carb diet and eliminated wheat, her skin completely cleared up. Never once did Dr. Kopchick recommend checking her blood sugar or investigating whether her diet was the problem. Dr. Kopchick was pretty nice, but just doesn't seem to have a clue. I would definitely not recommend her.
