I had a problem with this particular female doctor. I went in to my family doctor complaing of chest pains and numbness in my left arm, and he thouroughly evaluated me , then referred me to a specialist in Tuscaloosa. Now it took me almost two weeks to get an appointment, and when I finally saw the female cardiologist she spoke with me 10 minutes,and refused to run a stress test because "her schedule was too backed up". I replied that it was a waist of my time and money to drive way from Livingston, AL and not get thouroughly evaluated like I had asked. She replied that I was welcome to come back another day?? Are you kidding me I am a full time mom, student, and employee. I thought that the reason I was referred was to do all that was needed to be done that day, not get a conversation for 10 minutes and get sent home with the same problem and no explanation. she told me was what she believed it was. I dont want to hear what a Doctor believes, I want to know what they know!!! And her not taking the time out to find out was very diasppointing to me!!!! My feelings was hurt and I Felt belitted as if my problems was too small for her to attend to.
