They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They tried to make an effort to be kind of friendly throughout my appointment, but I wasn't very impressed because it seemed slightly forced. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities.

Dr Berns was very rough in her handling of my eyes during my eye exam. She was rude, disrespectful, did not care to answer my questions nor did she care about my comfort. The office also demanded that our 10 year old son make an eye appointment. We did not schedule an appointment for him so they took it upon themselves to schedule one for him anyway. They sent us a letter with the date and time of appointment and informed us that if we didn't show up for the appointment that we would be charged for it anyway, leaving us with the obligation of contacting them to cancel an appointment we never scheduled. I will never recommend Dr. Berns to anyone and I will never subject any of my family members to an appointment with her again.
