Dr. Clare is the only doctor I trusted to perform a very extensive surgery on my ankle. I sustained an injury on the job in New York City, where I worked as a chef. The injury was bad enough that I was not able to return to work, and over the next 16 months, I saw 10 foot & ankle specialists in NYC. My goal to avoid surgery had only to do with my lack of trust in the doctors I was seeing. Having finally lost my job & tenure, I was forced to relocate to Tampa where I was quickly referred to FOI. From my very first meeting with Dr. Clare, I gained absolute confidence in him. He is the FIRST doctor who understood what I was going through. My surgery was major - 6 incisions, 6 pins & a plate, cutting of bone, tendons & ligaments. I still have 8-11 months of recovery to go. But I can certainly tell you that I am blessed to have found Dr. Clare & it is nothing short of destiny. If you research online, you will find sufficient evidence of his expertise (which is also easily apparent in talking with him). He is a very serious guy - just the kind of guy you want when your livelihood is at stake. I consider myself lucky.
