COMPLICATIONS FOLLOWING SURGERY. SAID WE KNEW IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT. FIRST WE HEARD AFTER THE FACT. ABSCESS A WEEK LATER, NOT HIS FAULT. THREE YEARS LATER, MORE PROBLEMS, MORE STONES CLOGGED DUCT AFTER GALLBLADDER REMOVAL THREE YEARS EARLIER.

Stay away from this doctor. He might be a great surgeon. But he doesn't like questions. After a quick, rushed initial meeting, he gave me the name of one of his nurses to call in to answer my basic questions. Three months later and after 3 calls, I'm still waiting for a call-back. Catalane was arrogant, with a terrible bedside manner. Needless to say, I won't be using him as my surgeon.
