After reading good reviews, my wife and I choose this doctor to help us get pregnant as I have been diagnosed with low T, and therefore have a low sperm count.
I had previously seen an endocrinologist who helped to improve my T level, but she suggested I visit a urologist to see if the continued improvement of T would also improve my sperm count. Prior to the appointment I verified Dr. Kane dealt in male infertility due to low T and had all my test results sent so he would be up to date when we arrived.
After waiting 1.25 hrs past our appointment time, Dr. Kane finally met with my wife and I for a very rushed 10 minutes. We are not in a rush to get pregnant, however we were never asked about our wants/desires for this, instead Dr. Kane immediately asked my wife if she had any medical problems, to which she responded she was being treated for PCOS. Without any further questions he recommend IVF!
Even though he was holding a stack of my test results, he didn’t realize I was visiting for low T until 5 minutes later when we were trying to explain how our aim was to improve our health in order to get pregnant naturally, not rush the process and go straight to IVF. At this point it was clear he was ready to be done with our appointment so he recommended I go back to the endocrinologist and keep being treated for low T, and have a few more sperm analysis’ done.
To make matters worse, I have now been trying desperately for 3+ months to get the results of the tests Dr. Kane ordered sent to the endocrinologist. I call weekly and have tried speaking with receptionists and Dr. Kane, and they just keep sending the original tests (sent to them by the endocrinologist) back to the endocrinologist. I am amazed at the level of incompetence shown by Dr. Kane and his staff. This was a COMPLETE waste of time and money.
