I went to Dr. Cohen with terrible bunion and hammer toe which made walking very painful. Within a week he did surgery on my foot, cut off the bunion and reset my hammer toes. He did the surgery after normal office with no one nterruptions. Very fast and confident, Dr. Cohen has apparently performed this surgery many, many times so his plan was made well in advance and he demonstrated extreme skill at performing same.
Although his facility is not 5th Ave., NYstyle , it was clean, sterile and adequate. This in itself impressed me as patients are actually paying for posh facilities and furnishings. Also having this surgery in his office saved me and insurance a lot money and time. I walked out of Dr. cones after about two hours with my foot bandaged and in a walking boot. It has bee about 6 weeks now and everything has healed nicely and my foot is gorgeous. Dr. Cohen is a down earth nice guy and an excellent surgeon.

His staff is very knowledgeable as well and always helpful, courteous.

I went to see Dr. Cohen because he is only one close to where I live. Overbooked was an understatement, disorganized, the office was dirty, the staff looked like they picked their clothes up out of the floor and put them on, HE looked unkept. The only person who looked professional was the black tech. He was professional, friendly and spoke. The receptionist was late, I was a new patient and had to ask for my own new patient paper work.

Dr. Cohen did not wash his hands between rooms, I watched as he rushed between them. If my toe was not injured as bad as it was, I would have ran... When I finally was seen, I asked my husband to make sure he put gloves on. HE did not listen to me, he treated me for an ingrown nail not an injury, the tech had to go back and get him and I had to get stern with him about what I wanted done.

I did not go back for follow-up. I work for physicians, had my own NP look at it.
