I took my 4 year old to see Dr. Davis with a boil that I was certain was staph. Dr. Davis reassured my daughter that she was not going to give her a shot. The doctor squeezed the boil to try to make it pop. While my daughter screamed, she dug into the painful boil with the plastic end of her specimen Q-tip. When the boil still did not pop, Dr. Davis proceeded to stick the boil with a straight pin. My daughter was crying & yelling, "It hurts momma!" While blood rushed out, Dr. Davis continued to squeeze the boil until I told her that it was enough! Dr. Davis slapped a Band-Aid on it & I asked if she was going to clean the blood off. My daughter did not trust her any longer & would not let her clean the area. I asked Dr. Davis if she couldn't have numbed the area before doing that. Snidely, she said, "I guess I could of shot her with Novocain." This was only my second time seeing this doctor, and by far the worst I have ever seen! I would not recommend this doctor to see any patient, definitely not a child!
