I went to Dr. Goldstein in approx. 1980 when i was 20 yrs old, with repeated bouts of strep and sore throats when i sang or used my voice in loud environments. I recall him saying "Well, you shouldn't have taken out your tonsils...." and instead went ahead with an in-office procedure that he said "I've done OVER A THOUSAND OF THESE!!" where he cut out 'extra' tissue from inside the nose, and POOF!! i had no more issues with my throat since then, and i just turned 52. Now, i have a 20 year old son myself who has no strep problems but he chronically is noisily clearing his throat from nasal liquids .....he just came from a local ENT in NJ who's recommending adenoids removal("your adenoids are too big and trapping mucus")....im wondering if he could use the procedure i got instead....WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE PROCEDURE I GOT??
