Dr Hunter is AWESOME!! You don't have to spend much time talking to Dr Hunter to see the depth of his knowledge and his ability to take in a great deal of information/data, sort it and understand what is going on with you. I have MS & epilepsy along with other major health issues. I had seen Dr Hunter beginning some years ago. He was wonderful and I did very well under his care. After a change in insurance I decided to try a local neurologist (again... I have tried a few over the years before finding Dr Hunter). That has resulted in a slow but steady decline in my condition while the doctors, rather than myself, seem to be in denial. After checking and learning that they did accept my insurance I went back to Dr Hunter's office and it is hard to put into words the peace of mind I feel. He changed some of my meds due to uncontrolled seizure activity and in just a day or two I have seen such improvement. My husband is thrilled to have his wife back. I start treatment today for an MS attack I have been dealing with. It is a 2 1/2 hr drive to his office but worth every minute of it for me. I learned a long time ago that if all you ever have is a sore throat or a cold, any doctor will do, but if you have REAL health issues you need the best. Dr Hunter is the best!! I have hope again! I will make one more point then stop... i have recommended him to people I know and described him as follows... he is a brilliant doctor, a researcher, a scientist and his depth of knowledge is a bit mind blowing BUT he is easy to talk to, caring, helpful, explains things so I can understand them, takes action when problems present themselves. With all of this, he doesn't have the huge ego that gets in the way with many professionals who reach his level of accomplishment. So refreshing!!! I am grateful for this man.
