Prepare to wait to be seen by the doctor for 2-3 hours. Unable to make an appointment in case of emergency. My husband called to see Dr. Petrus because he developed allergy hives, but her office told him that the doctor is too busy and told him that she can make appointment for him the next week. The receptionist named Tracy basically told him to go another doctor. On the next occasion, my husband went to ER, and I called the office to inform the doctor about it, but she never came to see him even though I was told that the doctor came to the hospital. After the ER visit my husband called to doctor and left the message to call him back, but she never did. Dr. Pertus was our physician for few years now, and it is sad that we have to find a new doctor.
She is a very good doctor, but poor office and schedule management by her staff, mostly Tracy, makes it impossible for her to be effective. What good is a doctor that you can’t see when you need to?
