I attempted to see Dr Drake last Monday with excruciating pain in my L shoulder. I was refused an appointment for that day. I went to Walgreen's Little Clinic and was put on a cortisone dose pack and given pain meds (NOT narcotic). I am still having pain and have neuropathy in my L thumb,pointer finger and middle finger. Please recommend a next step.

To whom it may concern, I was recently a patient of dr drakes until 2 days ago, Feb, 10th 2012. I had scheduled an appt for 10:45am and arrived 5 min. early to be told my appt. was as 10:15am. The office manager was very rude to me and let me know quickly that I screwed up, and their office doesnt make mistakes. She came right out and called me a liar, all the while not even trying to fix the problem. So today I get a letter in the mail saying I was discharged from her clinic due to loud and disruptive behavior. Not once was I loud nor did I make a scene, yes! I was upset but I was raised better than to be disrespectful especially in public. Their are too many doctors in Rutherford county to have to deal with this type of treatment. This isn't the first time I've had concerns about this doctor, but I kept giving her a chance. She doesn't really seem to be as caring or informed as most doctors I've seen in the past.
