Dr. Michael Vaughn recieved his medical degree MD and PhD from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in 1987. During his PhD training he studied in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. He completed Internal Medicine residency training in the USAF at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio Tx. He completed fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Texas (UTHSC-SA). Dr. Vaughn was the director of Allergy services at the UTHSC-SA from 1995-2000 before joining his wife Dr. Adrianne Vaughn in their medical practice Alamo Asthma & Allergy Associates. Dr. Vaughn has received medical specialty board certification in Internal Medicine , Emergency Medicine and Allergy Asthma & Immunolgy. Alamo Asthma & Allergy is located near the intersection of Rt.1604 and Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio. His group provides for both adult and pediatric evaluations of medical conditions such as: nasal allergies, asthma, hives and body swelling (angioedema), recurrent infections, food allergies , chronic fatigue, and allergy to stinging insects.
