I am licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. My approach to therapy is collaborative and is based on what current research has shown to be the most effective methods for overcoming problems rapidly. My orientation is primarily cognitive-behavioral, although I also draw on other treatment methods.

ServicesI offer supportive, evidence-based treatment for adults and children. I am a skilled diagnostician with experience in treating a wide range of problems including anxiety (stress, panic, worrying, health anxiety, etc.), depression, relationship issues and child-specific disorders (oppositional behavior, child anxiety and ADHD, among others). I am an educator who trains both physicians and psychologists in the treatment of mental health issues, as well as in effective interview skills (including "bedside manner"). I believe that warmth, empathy, mutual respect and a bit of humor are essential to the therapy/counseling process. I truly enjoy my patients and my work.
