Expertise in depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD and learning disabilities, stress-related disorders, couples therapy, chronic pain, and substance abuse. Services include individual and couples counseling, psychological/neuropsychological testing, divorce mediation, and forensic assessment. Dr. Coleman is an expert in disability assessment, psychological evaluations, and vocational rehabilitation services. We specialize in mind-body and mindfulness-based strategies. Dr. Coleman received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology, where he specialized in health psychology and behavioral medicine. He also holds a masters degree in counseling from Denver Seminary, specializing in couples and family therapy.
Training
Dr. Coleman has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health centers, university counseling centers, primary care, psychiatric groups, non-profit agencies, private practice, elder care facilities, and forensic settings. He completed his masters internship at a university counseling center. He completed his pre-doctoral residency at Mental Health Centers of Denver in the Adult Outpatient Wellness Center working with the chronically and seriously mentally ill, homeless, and urban poor.
