Dr. Susan Gamble is a Licensed Psychologist and a certified Learning Disability Specialist. She has work experience in many areas of mental health treatment and higher education. Dr. Gamble has her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology – LA ( Alliant International University).
Dr. Gamble currently works in a variety of settings including: psychiatric hospitals, college disability centers, and private outpatient settings. She has over 25 years experience in mental health services and over 20 years experience with learning disabilities. She has supervised psychological assistants and MFT Interns in a hospital setting and private clinic settings. Dr. Gamble’s main areas of interest are marital counseling, assessment of learning disabilities treatment of depression and anxiety and helping students with psychological problems cope with the stress of attending college.
Dr Gamble has experience teaching at the Community College, University and Graduate School levels. The coursework she has taught includes Psychological Testing, Ethics and Legal Issues, Individual Counseling Theories, Study Strategies for Learning Disabled Students, Adult and Family Development, Human Motivation and Cultural Diversity.
Dr Gamble has been a member of the California Mandatory Continuing Education Program's Review Committee and the Techology Committee of LACPA and is currently a member of the following associations:
