I had a very good experience with this counselor. He has a kind and compassionate approach, and helped tremendously with my PTSD and past trauma. It has been challenging finding a good therapist that I feel is professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy since moving to Arizona, and this therapist is one of those people.

Avoid this therapist. Beyond the fact that his office was so disgusting and dirty that I didn't want to sit down, I highly recommend that you look for another therapist. I have zero trust for this therapist or his abilities to accurately identify the various complexities of the situation. You would be better served by finding another therapist.
