I have taken Peggy's classes for over 5 years, unfortunately only once a week, but I could not wait for my Yoga class. After a stressful day/week I knew I would leave the class energized, relaxed and I always knew I would have a wonderful night of sleep after the class. Initially my wife had convinced me to join a yoga class, but being used to physical sports I was doubtful when I started. Peggy's soft and smoothing voice and approaches, combined with a well-thought and well-orchestrated set of physical exercise, made me very quickly a big advocate of Yoga. I would definitely feel lousy when we didn't have Peggy's classes during vacation or other periods between sessions. Thanks to Peggy we also developed a real network of friends with the other students, given that we all felt like a team with a great coach or an orchestra with a great conductor. Overall we all had a great time with each class, and learned a lot about ourselves – our mind and body.
I took a few yoga classes with Peggy last year and certainly would have continued if it were easier for me to get to Newton. What made Peggy's class so appealing was the friendly and calm atmosphere. Lots of the students seemed to have been taking classes with Peggy for years, and I was really struck by how welcoming Peggy and everyone else was to a newcomer not only to the class, but to yoga. I just wish I lived closer to Newton since I haven't been able to find an instructor who gave each student as much careful attention as Peggy did.
