We provide orthodontic treatment to meet measurable goals for facial beauty, beautiful smile, sound function (bite), gum tissue health and stability. Attractive smiles are certainly important, but the smile may not last without bite correction. Many problems of the aging dentition and degeneration of the chewing system can be avoided, if the bite relationship is corrected during orthodontic treatment. We treat many patients who must have treatment a second time to correct the bite. Often these situations could have been avoided had the first orthodontic treatment provided more than tooth alignment. Most orthodontic schools don't have a strong curriculum in bite correction. Orthodontists interested in correcting the bite must learn the skills and techniques after graduation.We work very hard to get it right the first time; excellence is not an accident.

Dr. Malovos provides orthodontic treatment to both children and adults.
We believe you should only go through orthodontic treatment once in a lifetime; therefore we go a step beyond “typical” orthodontics. Our comprehensive treatment philosophy requires time to study necessary records prior to explaining your individualized treatment plan and treatment options. We will request x-ray images of the teeth and jaw joints and routinely mount dental molds on an instrument, the articulator, which is crucial to study the functional relationship between the teeth and joints. In-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.
