I have focused my practice on injury and chronic pain treatment since 1995. I've practiced deep tissue and relaxation massage since my first training in 1981. A relaxed detailed and subtle focus is required for many treatment modalities. I believe my years of yoga training and personal inner work have given me strengths and abilities that support this quality of focus. I realized years ago that I am always seeing what is under my fingers with my inner vision. This seems to allow me to do work more sensitively and continues to develop into a more subtle awareness of energetic fields and movements as I practice Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Very sensitive yet large strong hands combined with years of experience doing structural and neuromuscular trigger point work give me the ability and knowledge to do individually sensitive, slow deep healing work as needed. It is my goal to further develop my awareness and sensitivity in order to offer support at the levels my clients need. At times I may refer to a different therapist with other specialized skills so that my clients receive the best healing outcome.
