I have seen this doctor for two years for Parkinson's. He is rude and arrogant and he seems like he is always in a bad mood. He has screwed up my prescriptions and he never explains anything to me. He treats me like I am stupid. Recently I tried getting a scooter becuase it is hard for me to get around some days. His office would not complete the paperwork. I asked him again to complete the paperwork and he said he would while I was there but then later on, I got a call from his office and they told me that he did not want to fool with it. Don't go to this doctor. Dont waste your money or time.

Received referral to Dr. Petroff as he was the only doctor in town that could schedule an appointment in the next several weeks. In fact, he had an opening the following morning! It was quickly evident why this was the case. He didn't seem to want to help solve an obvious seizure problem and weirdly never made eye contact, which in Neurology one would think is quite important. He seemed extremely distracted, perhaps because the appointment (after a 50 minute wait) tore him away from a conversation with an attractive drug rep that arrived there five minutes after the scheduled appointment time. In multiple visits, it somewhat seemed like he was sampling the wares as he appeared to be almost autistically disconnected. After firing him and obtaining copies of the medical records, it was clear from his notes that he indeed had not been paying attention to the words coming out of the patient's mouth. It was as if the notes referred to a completely different patient. In the world of medicine, it is rare for doctors to abandon established practices due to the huge financial hit, yet Petroff moved to Austin after many years in Vegas - I wounder why that could be? I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. A visit to this person seems to be a complete waste of time.
