UIHC is a wonderful facility. The nursing staff cannot be topped. There are wonderful physicians available. But not John Canady.

Dr. Canady performed an alveolar bone graft and oronasal fistula repair on our 9-year old daughter whom he had seen since she was born. 18 hours after surgery she had been awake for a total of 10 minutes. He came to the recovery room and shouted at her for not eating enough food to go home. When we complained to the hospital, he refused to see her for any follow-up care appointments.

The surgery did not take. He informed us immediately AFTER the surgery that the tissue was not in good condition and that he almost didn't perform the surgery. Would have been a good thing to know BEFORE don't you think?
